Everyone believe they can be a better manager, i see alot of comments that assure me that alot are clueless. Lucas and Stevie should be dropped for Can and hendo, as much as Lucas isn't the greatest Midfielder he has stabilize our team in the backline and midfield way more than it was before, i remember people on here crying for a Dm and now we play one its a problem. Calling for stevie to be dropped its something we experimented with before and its proven there is no one else to stay calm and pass out the ball.
Playing 2 upfront when our better players are midfielders, todays game we just needed a striker capable of holding up the play, but its something we had to deal with, because of our lack of quality upfront, so take off a player from midfield to put on lambert or balo then you lose in another area which is the high intensity game. At the end of the day we got 3 points. Last season we had several games like these where we stayed deep and let sturridge and suarez work. 2 weeks back we played a good game against united and they edge us out with quality strikers.
While i think Rodgers dropped the ball at times, the man deserves some form of lead way and not as soon as things arent going well turn against him. Most people talking dont have a clue. Well said

Players need to play their proper positions. Hendo and Markovic aren't wing backs. What sort of performance do you really expect from them out there? Rodgers is a good manager but needs to get back to playing the systems we brought him in for. So according to you, the definition of a good manager is to play players out of position? In fact, Moreno, the wing back he fought for in the last window is not even playing. I call that a shyte manager. Fair point but I think last season proved his ability and potential. Honestly, I think he's lost confidence in himself and that may be because of his marriage breaking down, it may be emotional. He needs time and support but there is no one we will bring in that'll be better right now.

He probably changed his wife for a younger and better looking one and you want to counsel him

Yeah, probably has but ending a marriage puts a huge strain on you emotionally, especially when kids are involved. He just needs time and support and we will have a top manager on our hands. No one was expecting top 4 last season and we ended up getting 2nd.
He got the best out Suarez and co, not the other way around.

Finally a bit of perspective on life and humanity. Great support is what he needs not everyone smashing him.

I don't think what we are writing in here is in any bit affecting any of the players or the manager.
Support is something you earn. It is not just given because you feel sorry for someone.
What about all the money that seem to have been wasted last summer. And what could have been if it hadn't been wasted. Maybe it's BR who should give us lifelong fans some support at this moment in time.
Oh wait - he is sitting comfortly in his great mansion earning money you and I will never ever get close to.
I actually think he's paid to cope with what he deserves. Both praise when we sre doing well and stick when we aren't.

And you think you have a clue? The number of times Rodgers has been changing his system only shows that he has no clue, it's one game fine then shyte again. Yesterday's game should have been a convincingly well dominating one, not a single goal against the flow of the game, we had only 3 shots on target and we could have drawn or lost it. If it was a team like Newcastle or Villa, I would understand, not even mentionning City and Chelsea So let me get this straight you complain about the number of times he changed his system which makes him clueless the last couple of games we played well with the system, keeps the same system gets a very ugly WIN, and its still a problem. When we played Man u and Arsenal we should of won, dominated but didnt get 3 points, things lean in our favour this time and there is still an issue. Again i say some are clueless. Alot of teams gunning for top 4 dropped points at burnely this season including Villa man u Southampton and Newcastle. If it was last season alot would have taken the 3 points and be happy but now everyone is trying to add on to the case of why Br should be sacked. Our season didn't start the way we wanted signings haven't showed up and while Br takes alot of stick for the signings most choose to ignore the fact he can only identify who he wants. So if he says i want shaquiri the club has to put down the ground work to get him by all means. Its like a kid asking his parent for video game as a gift and they say no choose something else you only can pick another gift. Br has done alot of things wrong but it has reach a point where no matter what the result is he did something wrong. You say if it was a better team we would of lost, the same team faced Arsenal and most will say Arsenal was lucky to get a point regardless of when we scored. I just know alot are waiting on the next bad result to make another 10 thread about everything possible thats negative.

Its common knowledge about the impact the transfer committee have on our signings but ultimately someone has to take the blame and that has to be BR. From what I have seen. BR has not done enough to warrant the 'blind' support needed to oust the transfer committee and/or owners over BR himself.
You are correct when you say that BR will get a kicking for every negative aspect of a performance and as he is a manager of a team that has had over £100 Mil spent on it since last seasons close it's fully justified considering our our current league position and performances.
I have asked this in many threads defending/supporting BR. Name me one thing that he has done this season (tactically or with the team) that has been unexpected but a success?
I haven't seen him implement any changes that hasn't already been kicked death on this forum before hand.
The guy is a joke and it is embarrassing listening and reading the support for him.

I don't know why we should have won against United and Arsenal, we got beat by 3 nil by Manure, not a lucky single goal and against Arsenal we scored in injury time, so give me a break with who has a clue and who hasn't. You may keep hoping though, in your own right, doesn't mean BR will get it right, what has he won in his career?
