I'd keep Rafa for one more season.

That said no matter who is manager will make no difference whilst the clowns own the club.

Again a valid point made earlier, that if we spend £50m (and that is a MASSIVE if) and the likes of City, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and Villa massively outspend us again, in reality we have an uphill struggle. We can blame the manager of course but he- no matter who he is- is not going to bring home the Premiership.

Thats said the first team, when we're fully fit, is excellent and can compete at the top level, the issue is the players that come into the squad when we have injuries.

Not a chance - that would be throwing good money after bad.
Its not only the poor players that we have had this year, but the extremely poor tactics, substitutions, the lack of any relationship and man management of the players and the negative team formations that have made us the laughing stock of Europe.
The sooner he walks, the better.

he cud sign 3 players of their quality and still have 45mil to spend. the point is, hes never had SERIOUS money to play with. always signing his 3rd or 4th choice player. give him money n he will bring qaulity to the side.

sitting at home, or in the stands watching a game, you dont have the intimate knowledge of different players fitness, the knock they carrying and the issues behind teh scenes.

It very easy to sit on your couch and lambast rafa when he takes fernando off early. but what many fans fail to realise is that torres injury is very sensitive and secret, because we wouldnt want our opponents to know he is carrying a knock.

The same formations we play this year, we played last year. We zonal mark every year since rafa is around. At the start of the season fans were banging rafa for zonal marking, that lambasting of zonal marking is a thing of history now. Fans havent brought up zonal marking for ages, cos now even Mancini is zonal marking.

No-one has ever understood Rafa's tactics or his sheer stubborness of not playing certain players even though millions of people can see how poor some of his favourites play week in week out.
People could see years ago how he intended to play and to have another season of him would be unbearable.
Last year we over performed, with positive football in the second half of the season, but going backwards from day one of the season 2009-2010, including pre-season.
I honestly think over the last few months, he has been trying to force the owners to sack him for the payout.
Please please Juve, come in and save us from a big payout!

rafa's biggest failing, and the main reason we are as low in the league as we are, is his insistence on placing european footie at the top of his priorities list .... until he realises that the league is the primary objective at the start of the season we will always be also runs with him in charge

i think his main failing the past two seasons has been trying to play mind games. first with parry,then with fergie and now with the owners.

yes he's always concentrated on europe. and the domestic cups are nothing more than a chore to him....thats criminal!

We came 2nd last season with almost the same squad. In fact if it were not for Rafa's negative tactics we might have won the Prem. The players clearly don't want to play for him anymore. Sorry I don't think it is about money. I think it is about inspiring players to play for the club. Rafa has shown that he is incapable of doing this. Those of you that still want to give him one more year and think 50mil will fix things are insane.
