Rodgers has now claimed that the carling cup is priority this season. Didn't Kenny get the sack for winning it.
Perhaps BR knows he's gone so want to actually add a trophy win to his cv before he gets booted.

Sorry but I don't see it as too entirely different.. as they more or less go hand in hand. It's a very fine line when the line is crossed and you want the manager gone
