What a silly red. Yellow maybe, but red? Dear me!

It could have been a red against the keeper for handling outside the area, though I find this rule one of the most baffling in the game when a goalkeeper is sent off if he handles the ball inside the area, but then his momentum carries him outside of it. In effect, a man is sent off for failing to disobey the laws of physics.

There are many strange rules in football as you think of it.

For example: How can it be that only 1 man on the pitch knows exactly when the game is up?

Compare that to any other sport and - surprise - all the other have exact official time of the match. Easy for everyone to see - and fair!
