Mignolet Moreno Sahko Lovren Manquillo Lucas Can Markovic Sterling Balotelli Sturridge. With that formation the EL is within reach. Add 2 more quality players in January and it is not a bad team. All you doomsayers are not REAL LIVERPOOL FANS.

I just can't understand how something that has not worked with this squad is the way forward. As bad as Borini is why on earth was he not on the bench? Is he injured? If not why the hell are we not covering the option of a striker on the bench to just change things. I think BR is a dead man walking after gambling on that team selection at RM and subsequently losing to Chelsea and failing to get out of the group. At the time I thought it was the right decision as the game v Basle was always going to be the decider. But to go with one up top and nothing on the bench tonight was nothing short of scandalous and extremely cavalier on his part. Last edited by (E)SSO; 09/12/14 10:51 PM.
