What ? It's obvious to anyone who follows football why Chelsea and Man City let Sturridge go. (I don't know about the Torres payback thing) Yes he had a good tally of goals last season but as a reliable player for the club he didn't have a good season. I haven't got the stats but i'd say he was out 1/3rd of the season due to injury.
The guy is made of glass and should be moved on.
Even last season you could see that it would be a gamble to rely on him to be our main striker.
