Will we continue to accept this mediocre bs and allow our club to be clasisified by our manager and dragged down bythis [oops]. We failed today because we played with fire, passed out from the back against Chelsea with their counter attacking cApability. Sat back thinking we could keep it tight and then cried because we didn't get the decisions. Look at Mario, Gerrard, Johnson and realize the manager got it wrong.

Look at the substitution and realize Rogers got it wrong. What are we waiting for, even Anfield got fed up with the "pass to the back first mentality" and who installs that in the team?

FFS are we blind, desperate or are we hanging on to the history again. We lost and we playing sad footbal and it is down to a overrated young cocky manager and his stupid philosophy.

Wake the [oops] up!

If all else fails say that word outstanding a couple of times. The more you do the more you will believe your own spin.

BR's cover has been blown and it's becoming clear that the job is too big for him.

I would take Rafa back tomorrow as would many others.

I notice we have no "positives from todays game" thread this evening, even the happy clappies know the game is up.

BR should be given the rest of the season. Let's see what he's got. Never let it be said that we didn't give him long enough.

We started well, but something changed as soon as we scored.

Up front was the usual story though. Not enough options, little intelligent movement and no threat on goal.

Usual keystone kops at the back... and a dodgy keeper. I don't think Migs will recover from this season. Did you see the pass he kicked just before the final whistle? We're one nil down with only seconds to go and he kicked(miskicked?) it out for a corner. Saved by the final whistle.

You can bring in all the goats you wish, but that'll change nothing imo. We've had three managers in about as many years and you could argue that the quality of the squad was as good if not better when FSG arrived, but look how much money was tossed down the drain since with a stupid recruitment policy, and to what avail?
It's the decisions that are being made around fees and wages that have us with a dumbed down squad, unable to defend, unable to attack and one of the weakest mid fields in the PL.
A new goat or three or four new goats in quick succession ( under this policy that's what you'll get) won't make a damned bit of difference, if they aren't allowed to sigh top quality players.

I take your point sir and well made but I think Rafa would have spent £100m much more wisely than either Dalglish or BR.

I'm sorry to say that's just wishful thinking. Rafa was hopeless in the transfer market. Voronin, Dossena, Jovanovic, Morientes. He also seemed to have a knack of winding players up. Even the ones he bought himself. Much as I like Rafa's work ethic and his fighting spirit, he'd be too much of a risk for us at the moment.

In BR I don't necessarily trust but he's the best option for us at this moment.

we dont always have to go backwards, but with that said, im sick of looking at us atm. at least raffa or dalglish for the rest of the season would be a giggle.
