Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on. And it makes me wonder what side of the road Mario is driving.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

The most frustrating thing for me is that we had so long to sort out a striker and we ended up gambling on a loser. That's exactly what I find annoying about it too mate. Every man and is wife knew Suarez was leaving for over a year and it seems that nothing was done about finding a replacement, no thought, no planning and no preparation. It was left right until the last minute (relatively speaking) and we gambled on Balotelli, who let's face it was a last resort. I saw it that way in the summer and I'm still absolutely gobsmacked it was allowed to happen.

How many truly world class players do we have at our club?
I would say 1.
And that player is Balotelli.
Yet everyone is slating him.
Balotelli had never played well as a lone striker, he plays better with a partner up front. FACT.
WHAT is more amusing us the numpties suggesting Sterling should play the striker role for us.
Lightweight Sterling who has scored a total of less than 15 goals in his career.
I swear some of our fans are clueless talksport listening oinks.

Mario is not world class. If he were clearly world class and all the more clued in observers were aware of this, he would have been available at £16m.
I agree, he may have some features to his game that we have not properly tried to exploit, but in no way is he world class.
I think we have no world class players at LFC.
When Torres was at his best, he was towards world class. Suarez is definitely world class. Mario, sadly, has none of the essential attributes to merit that description.
World class strikers don't miss sitters and annoy their team mates. Costa would be an example of a player that is towards world class......

Whether you like Balotelli or not, he has proven with his skills on the pitch that he is world class.
Don't let the fact he has had a few clubs delude you that the lad is not world class.
Footballing geniuses walk the tightrope between madness and sanity, Balotelli is just one in a long line of footballing geniuses who walk a different direction to everyone else.

We've seen everything from Istanbul to appointing the world renowned Roy Hodgson as our manager... and signings ranging from the likes of Suarez & Torres to Poulsen & Konchelsky. We should be fairly well prepred for everything now.
'I was only in the game for the love of football - and I wanted to bring back happiness to the people of Liverpool.' Bill Shankly
'We should have made a signing or two in the last couple of transfer windows.' Vish

No one knew Suarez was leaving.
He signed a new contract last November, even BR admitted he did not plan on him leaving.
It all changed with his bitegate in the world cup, if Suarez had still been our player he would be getting slaughtered by everyone week in, week out for biting.
We had no choice but to sell at that point.
As for Balotelli being a panic buy, how many strikers moved clubs last season whom we could have realistically signed instead?
