Plus, no one is making excuses for him. Just saying that it only takes a goal or two and who knows what can happen. Crouch took 12 games or something like that and I remember all this crap being written about him too.

Mario hasn't been good enough but to write him off completely is also not really good enough.

I'm with Emp on this but mainly because he was always gonna be the complete opposite type of striker that we needed to replace Luis with..fukkin hate his attitude and that's never gonna change.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Well when you see him day in day out in training and have access to the changing rooms I'll take some notice of you. Until then it's just the usual white noise guff.

oh yes cause there is just no evidence whatsoever. not often your coach publicly thanks the stars that a player has left like his last coach did..then their is the evidence of every coach that has had him. and the evidence of him barely trying a leg. or pretending to be injured so he can sulk a bit...white noise indeed.

Only if someone can teach Balo to tap the ball in instead of blasting it, he'd have scored against Everton and QPR.

Rodgers after the game said that good players come alive when the ball goes dead. A reference to the quick thinking for our first goal. Possibly also a good sly dig at Balotelli who was not alert at all.

I remember when Sturridge first came and in one of his first games the crowd got on his back for not attacking a ball that bounced two or three yards into the box.
He hasn't done that since and got the message very early on about how fans expect their players to put in a shift.
Balotelli hasn't got that message yet as he is hiding behind the excuse of being the one up front.

Another performance like yesterday and he will feel the wrath of the crowd.

It's been a disappointing start to the season - but that was a team of internationals v QPR - with a front four of Gerrard/Balo/Sterling/Lallana. Stop giving these players a pass - they have let the manager down!

It is the manager's job to get the best out of his players, as simple as that. We are underperforming, I mean, how can a team like QPR dominate us that much? Selection is one thing that the manager does, making sure that the system is right and is working is as important if not more. My main issue with Rodgers is that he has still not sorted our defensive frailties and now we are not even creating goals as we did last season.
