Do we not have the 3rd highest spending manager and suits in the league? This is BR's 3rd campaign and we can all see how woeful we are playing as a team and have done since the summer. QPR have come up from the championship and played us off the park.

BR is paid a fortune to manage this club as are the people above him who spend 10's of millions on players who at this point are playing like we are in the local pub league.

BR can absolutely turn this round but there are no excuses that could have and have been sighted previously for him, the board or the players they have assembled over a reasonable period of time.

There is nothing defeatist about the current state of play, nothing at all. It is how it is and a dire looking position bar lady luck keeping us in the hunt.

How can anyone be critical of fans who think we have little probability of beating a Real Madrid team arguably as good as they have ever been?

We'll all get behind the team but let's not kid ourselves with how we are currently playing together!

The ultimate positive person was comical Ali who said on TV everything was going great and victory was certain and behind him the camera picked up columns of American tanks looming up. What does cheering your team on mean? I have never met a fan at the game who does not moan when things are not going right. It's a natural human trait it's the same for other fans check out their forums. Maybe out there, there is a person who never utters a bad word about their team and are positive like mr Ali. It's just I have never met that person and I am not sure I want to.

Last time we beat them here we wiped the floor with them. Their cavalier approach will suit us down to the ground.
at that time we had the best midfielder in the world (Gerard) , one of the best ball winning midfielders in the world ( mascarano), one of the best cb we have ever had ( carra) and the best striker in the world ( torres)

what do we have now?, a talented 19 yr old and one has been (gerrard)

Ok so you are giving up despite their English hoodoo and the fans being on our side?

Real Madrid were 2-0 up away to Real Sociedad this season and absolutely cruising, they ended up losing that game 4-2! Yes they are a top team, probably the best in the world at attacking but they aren't unbeatable!

They lost back in August when they were barely getting started, just like we beat Southampton, if we played Southampton this weekend, they would probably beat us.

Last 5 league games -

RM - 8-2, 5-1, 2-0, 5-0, 5-0
LFC - 0-1, 1-3, 1-1, 2-1, 3-2

Hey Spicy. How's the away form going? Nice to know this is how you try to get your sad Scumchester kicks on a European midweek these days.

Same RM to me. Cavalier attitiude. Can't defend and play poorly in England. Different species? I doubt it.

Whoever you support and Spicy will back me up on this one you always believe that your side can beat any opposition. I grant you that current form isn't great but all current form goes out the window playing these types of teams at Anfield. Current form actually tomorrow starts when the ref blows his whistle to start the game.

If Rafa had signed David Silva like he wanted to and he had been in that team instead of Ryan Babel I honestly think we would have conquered all!
