I actually thought he was pretty good last night, just lacked the confidence to shoot.

So why were you agreeing that he was poor in the shout box last night?

Probably because he was half asleep.

I stuck my neck out after his cameo appearance and said I liked the cut of his jib,and ever since he's got progressively worse, so much for my eye for a player. However I can console myself with the thought that this season the whole shagging lot of them's got worser and worser till we have to depend on a missed 14th penalty at home to a Championship side!! Someone asked somewhere if we've had a good transfer window? Reckon he's got his answer now.

Doesn't look that great in the final third and afraid to shoot. I would have preferred to see Ibe given a run in the team this season. Hopefully he will improve though.

I was actually impressed with Tadic in our first game, but you say, Markovic is better, hopefully you are right.

I think Tadic is an excellent player, i was saying we should buy him 2 windows ago. Fantastic buy for Southampton that. I am not sure who is better but in Serbia, the general concensus is that Markovic is the better player of the two. I think he is lacking a bit of confidence at the moment though, he didn't take his chance to shoot last night when he clearly should have. He did however make some very good runs off the ball and had a neat one two with Lallana, i think it was, and so on. Again though, something i don't understand is BR playing him on the right.

Markovic is much more effective on the left cutting in or even central, something i mentioned last night in the shout box. I remember stats about Borini showing that he too is twice as effective on the left, something he showed at Sunderland too, yet BR insists on playing him on the right, and now, it seems he is doing the same with Markovic.
