anything other than us giving the title a real good go, for me would be considered failure (league wise). A trophy of any sort for me is a must, Rodgers needs to turn his wins into trophies.
I agree and lets face it, chelsea and city are favourites but I want to be up there like last season challenging and being involved in the title race. On top of that I want us to progress through to the knock out phase of the cl and try to go as further as possible, again we are not favourites as atleast 6 or 7 clubs have better squads than us but like you say mate, we need to have a right good go at both these giant competitions. There is also a realistic chance of a cup win with the squad we have now, I don't care what people say about these competitions and how they are worthless, Brendan Rodgers lifting one of the cups will get him closer to our hearts and will be a great start on top of last seasons success.
Just to add, in no way anybody expected that season from us, to go from 7th to 2nd and almost winning it is unprecedented and with the aquad we had so I think everyone should feel a sense of pride and confidence that we could go one better this season. Its definitely a season of high expectations. Lets hope we do well.
