There is no pleasing some people I suppose. Liverpool are in a better state business wise than they have ever been in the last 25 years. Fsg has only been in charge 5 years as well. You know, I'll be the first to say that I'd have preferred a new stadium. Are they the best owners in the world? No. No they're not, but they are the best out of those who are interested. And what have they done so far? Well they've systematically tackled and removed any deadwood the could, and have done/doing away with these big unnecessary contracts that were unsustainable and introduced more performance based contracts to ensure that players earnt their money. They have invested in youth and are building for the future. They have put their faith in a young ambitious manager who is proving more and more to be the real deal as he matures into the role and builds the team. They have shown a willingness to act in the transfer market. They have aquired numerous lucrative sponsorship deals to increase revenue into the club. They are finally getting SOMETHING done about the stadium situation after decades of waiting. Fair enough, they cant afford a new stadium but are at least tackling the issue in some way.

If indeed these rich owners people speak of were to come in and brings us on par with city, then where exactly are they!? If FSG are these money hungry cut throat investors that people are so quick to identify them as, surely they'd sell as soon as a profitable offer came along right? So why arnt these owners coming along? Especially now that we are a much more attractive entity as a business? Where are they? We have the international fan-base, now the self sustaining business and CL. So why havent we heard anything? Maybe because just *getting a multi billionaire owner to come along* isnt as easy as some people would like to believe it is. Maybe its closer to winning the fracking lottery than it is anything else.

So as much as people are kicking and screaming for things to happen "now now now, I want my pudding now!" and throwing their toys out the pram, spitting their dummys out and generally crying like petulant children, you're going to have to grow up and accept the fact that we're going to be building something rather than be handed it, no matter how much you're going to bloody moan about it.

I believe he would be in for a better stadium one that could carry us on for another 50 years but stan tbh we cant do it with fsg so we have to ecept that is the case but we don't have to accept it is the best plan or not speak against it do we ?
