They could copy our formation and play:
--------------De Gea----------- Rafael----Jones---Rojo-----Shaw --------------Blind------------ ------Herrera------Di Maria---- -------------Rooney------------ --------RVP-----Falcao---------
Which IMO looks a very decent team, the only real weakness being a lack of pace in attack (unless Falcao is fast? and even then his knee might slow him down).
I'm just praying LVG is stubborn enought to stick with his 352 formation rafael :0

--------------De Gea----------- -----Jones---Evans-----Rojo Di Maria-----Herrera---Blind-----Shaw ------------- Mata-------- ---------------Rooney------------ ----------Falcao---------
This could potentially work, I don't think that's the team he'll play though. I don't see him leaving RVP out, and he keeps persisting with Valencia, so he'll probably end up playing:
--------------De Gea----------- -----Jones---Evans-----Rojo Valencia-----Herrera---Blind-----Di Maria ------------- Rooney-------- ------------RVP---Falcao---------

I think LVG has brought in players that he believes will fit his system, it now all depends on if they adjust well/quickly enough or indeed at all.
It is slightly worrying however in that they look to have greatly strengthened their attack, people will point to their defensive weaknesses but try to remember how poorly we were defensively last season and finished second.

It seems they've not strengthened where everyone , including most Utd fans that I know, knew they need to strengthen. Yes we'd all like Falcao as he is world class but they are so top heavy that I can't see how it could work. I hope it doesn't as if they don't get ECL with the money they've spent and the wages they're paying, they could be fecked.

If they don't make CL again, the wheels will come off for sure. There'll be an even bigger exodus. I could see Falcao going to Madrid, Mata, RVP, and Di Maria leaving, and Shaw and Herrara either leaving or tied up on major wages and going to shyte like Rooney is doing.

I'm just praying LVG is stubborn enought to stick with his 352 formation Hmmm, you've put me thinking there WNP and where United are concerned that's never a good sign. However LVG is a stubborn old boy, so they'll probably be Shyte again. Anyway it looks like they're grabbing anything they can get without any tactical or strategic vision...so yeah I' going for "panic" complete with a bad dose of squeaky bum time! I'd even venture to suggest there's a foul smell in that boardroom, right now!

Some mad stuff on here. Falcao was the only not planned for buy. And what a panic..... buy. They will be top heavy and their defence wont be top class but will still be good. Any team with that much quality on the pitch is gonna do serious damage. 1 game a week with plenty of time to get things right during the week. Let there be no silly talk about their financial strength. They are a goliath. A money making machine. I know theyve a lot of debt but their turnover is massive. The only thing which could go against them is the imo mercenary status of some of their main buys, di maria and falcao. I can see several players there getting a pain in the bolx on the bench or not being THE star rooney falcao di maria especially rvp. However imo with that amount of money spent the pressure is on for at least top for and maybe a tilt at the title
