Take the 4th Champs league spot off the league finish and hand it to the F.A cup winner - will at least save one of the best competitions football has left.

United are making it incredibly difficult to finish in the top 4 even at this early stage. That had the easiest start of all the teams with a realistic chance of top 4 and they've blown it. They need to overtake Liverpool Everton and Spurs they also now have to do that with three of the easier fixtures gone.

Spurs didn't finish that far behind last season considering their "meltdown."
Like I said earlier, I don't think we have much to worry about as long as we keep our own house in order - think we are stronger than our rivals for 4th and it's ours to throw away. Secure 4th first and then see where we are, one game at a time..

Well regardless, it's a big opportunity with City losing today. If we win the way we did last year, we could go as high as 2nd. What the fck have you told me that for I don't want to hear the results as on match of the day later and I wanted to watch it without knowing the scores What the fck are you doing here if you don't want to talk football It's humour Spock they don't have it on your planet

Hendo and Allen are hard workers but can't dominate a midfield, something is missing

If we play this team
Migs Manquillo Sahko Lovren Moreno Gerrard Henderson Sterling Markovic Sturridge Balotelli
We should have no problems, use Markovic and Sturridge out wide, with Sterling at the tip of the diamond behind Balotelli.
With Gerrard as defensive midfielder, and Henderson playing in the middle of the diamond.

Looks like the strongest team at the moment. Coutinho is far too inconsistent and rarely turns up at away games. Only trouble I see with that is there's a few new players that might not be fully settled.
