really looking forward to this game seeing the new boys If Rodgers plays them, there's talk of him feeding them in slowly, so who knows when we'll see them, would like to see Balotelli on though, as I'm not quite sure what to make of him yet

Lots of people have been talking up the Spuds team, but after having a good look I feel like I'm missing something. They have Lloris, Dier, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Capoue, Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Adebayor in their first 11. Personally think our team looks much better.

We should have no problems, use Markovic and Sturridge out wide, with Sterling at the tip of the diamond behind Balotelli.
With Gerrard as defensive midfielder, and Henderson playing in the middle of the diamond.
