The excitement levels in anticipation of him signing are going through the roof - a quick look on any football website is testament to it, let alone how quick this thread has taken off..
As someone above said, Balotelli for under 20 mil is a fantastic piece of business! The thought of him at Anfield has me salivating..

I’ll be very relieved also, we desperately need a striker of his ability. I know there’s question marks around his behaviour, but we’ve had our fair share of those players down the years at Anfield, and the sky didn’t fall in! Sign him while we can and then continue to target Falco, and a quality keeper would be my moto, assuming we can get Borini off to Sunderland. Dreamland much?

Aye we can but dream... we are such things as dreams are made of...call it 'A Mid Summer Nights Dream’ but make it happen and we’ll all be in dreamland

When City sold Balotelli to Milan for £19million, the City fans couldn't believe their luck in getting such a fee for him. Now we're paying £3million less, is it really such a fantastic piece of business? I feel the City fans would be more knowledgeable on Balotelli than us lot.

To be honest I've seen plenty of City fans on various pages who are envious of us possibly signing him and want him back themselves. I'm sure there were fans who were happy to get 19 mil for him - in the same token I'm sure there were just as many fans who were gutted when he left.. just look at the differences of opinion on here on any given topic and you'll find a view to suit. I just can't see past Balotelli at 16 mil. If Rodgers can get his head right, even to a certain degree we would have arguably one of the worlds best strikers on our books. Who else can you get for 16 mil these days? Infact even at 30 mil, who could we realistically attract? Players aren't exactly throwing themselves at us are they

Super Mario will prove 1000% value over the likes of Lucas Leiva, Stuart Downing or Andy Carroll. And how much did those players cost again? The last time I was so excited about a signing was... Luis Suarez! Absolutely fantastic news. lucas cost a mere 5m

massive risk but we have to love him now he is here and hope BR gets the best out of him...he has flattered to deceive his whole career and plays 1 out of 8 good games. plus points is he has the talent and he also has star mentality .
Its on BR this one - could be a masterstroke or a complete disaster .
