Reina is 31 years which is not old at all for a keeper and finding a young good keeper for 7m is not easy, we'll see who we get.

Is Reina actually that good though? I think he's been very average for the past three seasons.

Good or not it would have been a threat to Migs place which is what he needs. Might actually make him good?

Do you think that Jones is better than Reina?

Just imagine if Migs gets a lengthy injury. Jones in goal for a length of time would be a disaster. At least Reina would be an equal level of back up and has bags of experience. I know his wages are high for a back up keeper but still.

No I don't but I don't think Jones will be backup this season.

That's not good enough for me box. I'd say we need a top class keeper and have Migs as back up.

I'm still unsure on Migs but I'm willing to give him this season. His decision making needs to improve massively this season and hopefully with Lovren in the middle they'll be less pressure on Migs.

Hope you're right. This was always my problem with getting rid of Reina. He was the best keeper we've had in years. I know he went off the boil but we needed to replace him with a keeper as good as he was, not just a cheaper alternative that's no better than he is now.

I agree we need better not cheaper!
