I don't think the thread is about yesterday's game but more about the last 2 seasons under BR.

I believe its the system more than the defenders. It's the price of being attack minded. We wouldn't have scored as many goals last season if we were a bit more defensive. Would that have put us first? I believe nobody can tell for sure.

All of Liverpool's problems were coming from the wings, the team simply couldn't deal with Navas especially and balls into the box from City's right side, that was nothing to do with Migs. He was at fault for neither goal.

I thought Sakho looked very good, really strong, imposing and for once looked quite comfortable on the ball, it was probably the first time I've really been impressed by him in a Liverpool shirt so hopefully there's more of that to come.

I think he's just back snuff after the injury troubles.

That's not the problem, most of the goals conceded last season came when the team was pressed back and had many players behind the ball..

We often score then get pushed back and can't handle the pressure leading to the vulnerabilities I listed in the opening post..

We do sit back after going ahead but we don't have a good organization to contain the pressure, it is often mentioned we need a defensive coach because many recognized the problem is not just the players

We were never 'solid' at any point against City, they were attacking us from out wide at will.

Nothing changed when Mignolet and Robinson came on so I really don't understand your criticism of them at all.
