we should ask arsenal fans how they feel about loosing the highbury name. i know a lot who refuse to even call it the emerites, most call it ashburton groove!! maybe the new stadium will be called the carlsberg stadium and will be referred to as stanley park????? feck it i dunno, n dont care anymore......

I'm with you lads - if it gets us out of the sh!t and we could start investing in the team, I think we would be stupid to turn it down.

Emp, you are not alone cos I like it too. I was reading in one of the papers the idea for the material was taken from our kit in 1990, the last time we won the league. Also, we never won the league with Carlsberg so perhaps a clean break from then is a good thing. Also, if Standard Chartered Bank are coughing up £20m a season we should all like them regardless of who they are.

By the way, the true measure of how the kit is liked is with the kids. My 2 love it, & they want Pepe's kit too. Looks like I am doing more overtime!

crazy. i always thought a great example of "so crap its cool" would be wearing a duffle jacket, with MATCHING DUFFLE TROUSERS! complete with button fly, and of course the buttons are torpedo buttons.!!
