Why are LFC bothered about whether Suarez can train at Melwood if they've already agreed to sell him to Barca?

Seems somewhat inconsistent to be bothered about training a player that you are resigned to losing.

Stupid statement! We're in a much stronger possition to sell if he's not banned for the beginning of the new season. Barcelona will use the ban as a reason to knock millions off deal.

And then we use that as a reason not to sell him

We can happily wait for him to chuck in a transfer request - why do we HAVE to sell??? He gets sent off for Uruguay and all of a sudden Liverpool has to sell him on the cheap to Barca? I've never heard anything like it.

Because if he bites again which is a very real possibility the fa would ban him for at least a season.

Was reading in the Sunday papers the sentence was higher as he showed no contrition in the hearing with FIFA
