My support for Liverpool has as much to do with the values the club stands for as it does with their actual performances on the pitch. As a matter of fact, i wasn't alive when Shanks had us winning everything. I started supporting LFC in '87, so in many ways, my love for the club has more to do with what the club represents than with on field success.
Having said that, whilst i think that if he gets sold, it needs to be now, i don't think any other club would sell him because of this. But is this not one of the things that sets LFC apart from the rest of the dross?
People say "forget class, we need to be winning", i agree we need to be winning but i don't want to win by cheating and biting etc. I have lost all respect for Luis. I acknowledge he is a world class player, perhaps the best in the world at the moment, but he needs his head checked.
Get a grip and more importantly get off your high moral horse. Sourness broke someone's jaw and got nothing, was very much loved afterwards. He is a repeat offender and should not be defended but get some perspective. No one was facing severe injury.
