I don't think we can setup realistic goals/targets till the end of the summer. Crazy stuff can happen between now and then.

Aim - Top 4 and a Cup Win, KO stages of Champions League.

Would like to see a new GK, LB, RB, DM and LW.

We need to start planning for the future and build a team with pure quality throughout, not looking at one season wonders and wasting money. A worthwhile investment for a start would be Lukaku, get rid of deadwood like Borini, Aspas and Alberto and splash the cash on a potential world class player. We would be foolish not to talk to Tom Ince, he's every bit as good as Sterling and is available on a free. Johnson is a massive liability and needs replacing, someone like Micah Richards or Nathaniel Clyne would be decent with Wisdom or Flanagan in reserve. Likewise we need to buy a player who will hold on to the left back position for the next decade, someone like Ben Davies and give Robinson the push up to be backup.

Our squad is full of absolute tosh taking up space and wages which would better served elsewhere -

Agree with all the player outs with the exception of Allen. I think he's a very useful player to have around and can offer cover around the middle especially if were selling Lucas as well

Borini won't get many opportunities I don't think and would be better off for both parties to sell him for near enough 10mil

Emre Can has obviously replaced Lucas, Put Gerrard/ Henderson next to him with Coutinho/ new signing in front of them, doesn't really leave a lot of room for Allen. He's had 2 seasons now and hasn't pushed on as much as he should have, especially when you see the likes of Hendo and Sterling ripping it up and making a massive difference to games, Allen is just plodding along and is in danger of falling behind the likes of Rossiter if he's not careful, I would rather see a youngster get a chance on the bench than Allen on high wages, who wouldn't have much more of an impact.

Borini might as well start looking for property in Sunderland.

Johnson needs to take a big paycut for me to warrant him staying, everyone else bar Allen is hard to argue with.
We payed over the top for him by the looks of things (still bit hard to tell) maybe by 4 / 5mil. Still think he is a decent midfielder and with the extra games next term (I'd expect our cup runs to have a bit more legs next season) I think having him rotate with Coutinho & Hendo would be a bit of a blessing.

Agree except that can't see anybody paying 10m for Borini.

If someone gives us £10m for borini I will drive him to the destination club free of charge

Lol how much do you think we could get for reina and Johnson put together. If we could get 30 million from borini Johnson reina asaps and Alberto I'd be satisfied. Although I'd be slightly tempted to maybe give Alberto 1 more year at least he could play carling cup and notch up his value
