Borini won't stay he'll be off for around £10m just can't see him being an impact sub, Strikers like him need runs of games to be useful and Borini won't get that.
We'll be in the market (Hopefully) for someone who's happy and able to come on a score goals at short notice.. Or is that why Lambert was signed??
Would 3 Strikers be enough? Perhaps that £10m from Borini would go towards buying another AM / Winger, eg. £10m + Agger for Pedro..
I'd be happy with 3 strikers as long as we have at least 5 players who can play in the hole behind the strikers.
So far we have Sterling and Coutinho. Which means Lallana and Shaqiri plus Ibe potentially.
At CM we have Lucas, Can, Gerrard, Allen and Henderson fighting for 2 potentially 3 slots depending on if we play the diamond 1-2 or 2-1. That's sufficient bodies in that area of the park.
Yes we all would like a DM but that's not going to happen until Gerrard steps aside in 2 years.
At the back is where we are clearly need significant investment.
Agger has already said he's not prepared to be number 3 so he'll be off for around £12m
Toure has a year left and provides experience in the squad for all his defencive errors I'd keep him for 12 months and see what he does.
Enrique needs to be replaced its obvious, I doubt we'll move him on as who would buy him lool but he cannot be our number 1 left back. Moreno would be ideal For a reported £18m I think the deal will get done.
At CB Personally I'd like to see illori given a chance as he does look a great prospect. But is throwing him in the deep end a good idea? Doubtful so we're going to spend between £10-15m on a CB Lovren is highly linked.
At RB I'd like to see Johnson moved on but can't see all these holes being filled in one window, We have alot of bodies to get rid of and Johnson could do a Adebayour and fight for a new contract and have a great season, Who knows.

Our reported budget is around £50m + Player sales, We've all seen figures higher then that but it doesnt make sense with FFP.
That leaves £36m for 2 AM a LB and a CB. We'll be lucky to get a AM and the LB positions sorted with that which means players sales in order to fund the rest of the squad development.
Say we manage to get Moreno and Lallana with the remaining £36m on packages like 50% now 50% next season add-ons etc or something similar then that £36m could get them.
Selling Borini and Agger would mean an extra £20m to spend. Add to that Riena, Assaidi and Aspas for a total of £30m from player sales.
That £30m would get us one more AM and the CD.
That should complete our Summer Window and leave us with a better more experienced squad.
Its a very important window, The next 3 are vital, We cannot afford to be singing players on big wages until we have secured CL for a couple of years also remember the BT deal doubles the CL money from £25m to £50m next year.
If we can secure 4th and have a good run in the cups I think next season we could be in the market for bigger names then we are currently being linked with.
