I was disappointed when we did not get DIC although I have heard negative things since. What you need to understand is we are 20 years behind our rivals off the field and we needed owners to bridge the gap. We will never catch up organically unless city United Chelsea arsenal went backwards. Not going to happen we had a good season last year but it won't be like that every year. Not sure if you have ever seen the set up developing at city ? Take a look huge concourse shops hotels etc we have nothing like it that's the sort of investment I wanted to see and we might have got it at one time. Take a look at these set up yourself don't listen to the URL merchants

We are not going to get Abramovich or Sheik Mansoor, so what's your point? We were unlucky because Moores wanted to make some more bobs? Don't think we would be better with Moores, we were already in debt and he didn't want to inject funds, not sure if he had them.

Who are these URL merchants you speak of Stan? Could you please specify, so we know who you are reffering to?

Sakho- good deal IMO
Sturridge - excellent
Coutinho - excellent
Aspas- poor but without a real chance
Borini- bought for the future and proving to be useful off the bench
Alberto- always meant for the future
Yes

Sakho- like his traditional defensive style but £17 million come on Ninja it's arguably early on but it's not looking like he will measure up to that price tag.

Sturridge- superb

Coutinho- superb for the fee.

Aspas- never will be LFC quality.

Borini- punt for £10 million. Like the lad, but we paid way over.

Allen- Jury still out and not looking like £15 million worth.

You can't be paying this for 'squad players' it's not Chelsea.

This window really has to be right- I am hopeful it will be but he has to do a lot better in this area.

I wouldn't say we overpaid for Borini at all, especially seeing as we can recoup all of it it seems and there are interested clubs.

Also, might I point to the fact that Sakho is 24 years old. He has at least another 7 years left in him, probably 8. He performed well in his first season in England with high expectations when he came in. I think he can only get better and that in today's market, you won't a single defender better than him for that pricetag, especially not one as young as him.

Was Allen worth the 15 mil we spent on him, at the moment no, but Hendo wasn't worth the 20 we spent on him either, but just look at the lad now. I will give Allen another season to prove his worth.

Aspas has turned out to be a flop, but i still think he is a very good footballer, he just hasn't really been given a run of games and he hasn't adapted as well as he might have liked. If he goes back to Spain, watch him, he'll be cracking them in in no time.

Hendo was not 20m, was he?

Sorry, 18 million

Stanley, take a deep breath. Think about what you are saying. You want to start an argument because I refuse to look at something on google earth. Buddy, relax and trust me, the redevelopment of Anfield and the surrounding area is a good thing.

The regeneration of anfield is good but it's the city council backed by government money nothing to do with FSG. Redeveloping anfield is a huge disappointment for all the reasons I have said but you have not answered one marko not one.

Simply saying it's good without any rationale leaves me thinking I am wasting my time you simply don't read what the other person is saying

Very frustrating

To a similar extent? Did they fully maximise the commercial possibilities that were available to them in your opinion?

Commercial revenue probably did rise but why is it that United did a much better job while we were the dominating force not only in England, but Europe? How did United afford to increase their seat capacity and we kept watching?
