John Terry suffered the same injury in 2012, his recovery time was 14 days! Mind you, as soon as I see or hear his name, I tend to have a sudden hearing loss and mental shutdown.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has sustained an knee injury and is a doubt for the World Cup.The 27-year-old twisted his knee in training and tests later revealed meniscus damage. Uruguay say he will undergo surgery today and insist that he should recover in time for the tournament.
However the news will concern Liverpool as Uruguay would have to push Suarez to the limit as the normal recovery time for such an injury is 4 to 6 weeks.
Roberto Pastoriza, of the Uruguayan FA said: "According to the report I received a while ago, we are optimistic that he can play at the World Cup.
"Liverpool's medical team are naturally trying to determine what the exact situation is. An official statement is due from Uruguay later today.

As long as Uruguay don't push him too soon and knowing Suarez he wouldn't mind it very much.

I think you may have a point there Faz, I meant to add...or was it down to Torres throwing his toys out. If Luis is injured I hope its not too bad and Im sure he will give 100% into getting fit and trying as hard as ever to get back to his normal self asap.

Jaysus lads, Suarez has never given us less than 100% and playing in a World Cup is every footballers ultimate dream I would imagine.
I think he has earned the right to play in Brazil and it will be an awful pity for him on a personal level if he doesn't make it.
