I said I thought Rogers would be ruthless and I believe by the huge list of availability in the playing staff it will be so. Just another facet of a great football manager.
Johnson has never lived up to his potential and this 'we'll be weaker without him' stuff is plain silly. Take that to it's logical conclusion and you could say it about any first 13 player.
The point is you replace players you let go with someone better. Are you guys honestly saying we can't find a better player out there to fill that role and one who isn't costing 100k plus a week?
Time is right and quality targets will be easily signable by capitalising on our return to the limelight.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Duncan, keep dunkin those donuts mate, hes crap and has been for a long time, look at the goals we gave away against crystal Palace and then revisit your stance. I would blame him for the first goal only, for the second one there was acres of space in our half because as usual all our players were all attacking and the 3rd one was a Skrtel's bad positioning.

There is no talk to let him go this summer but may be on a free next summer. We won't get more than 4m by selling him and to get a better attack minded fullback will not be easy. For me it's a situation similar to Reina/Mignolet last summer where priorities were somewhere else. Yes, a better fullback will be useful, but we need to strengthen other positions first. We need a left footed fullback more, and Flanno can also provide competition on the right as he is only a makeshift on the left. Kelly can play on the right too. On the left we have only one player and injured.

Not only what I posted above, take his creativity into account.
A lot of fans on here these days would be better off following City or Chelsea. Get off the grass pal.
Johnno is a class wing back.. he spent a large part of the latter half of the season injured, don't forget that. Form and confidence plays a massive part, we'd be weaker without him in the squad. People keep going on about how good Johnson is going forward but his stats for the season are played 29 games scored 0 assists 2. That's crap for a player that is supposed to be better going forward than defending.

He's a better defender. Bit we need two better full backs that we currently have. Flano is still very young and I hope he will establish himself as a first team regular in the next two season though. Competition for places will only make him better.

Competition for places will only make him better. If Flanno is better than Glen, then we should be fine and don't need to spend there unless we have lots and lots of money. We will need one left back, 2 midfielders (one more defensive one more creative), a left footed winger, a top CB, a top striker a back up goalkeeper before buying a right full back.

We should wait out GJ's last year and then focus on his successor next year instead. And who knows - he might turn good (better) if he doesn't get a new contract and has to focus on earning it during the upcoming season.

Got to perform 100% regardless ALL of the time, or you're cast to the Wolves. See Lucas for further details.

I very rarely throw players to the wolves but I'm making an exception this time.
