I agree with growler....

We just don't give foreign players enuff time to Settle in at the club, on and off the pitch ....

Remember lfc let players like ie palletta, insua, leave and now they are worth millions and playing in the top divisions in Spain n Italy ...
both players wud be in the starting 11 at lfc by now and wud help solve our defensive problems

Bring Coates back to the club and loan him out to Swansea, Southampton type teams etc etc

He lacks the speed and technical skills to be a ball playing CB under BR.

totally agree with mighty and Kop.never was comfortable on the ball and too slow.

fair point that he wasnt given enough chances but i cant see the primary attributes getting any better with loaning him out even.

He did score that brilliant overhead kick the other year..
Tbh, he hasn't had much game-time.
And his injuries did not help at all.

Seems weird, but it is too early for us to tell how he will do in the EPL. (Even though we signed him back when Kenny was in charge).
It is up to Rodgers and how he fits into his system, will be a training pitch decision I think.
