Rodgers has done the time and plied his trade. Everywhere he's been so far he's improved the team. He's only just coming into his own and will win trophies at liverpool for many years.

The man loves this club you can see that , that alone makes me want him over rafa. The fact he's gonna be a much better manager if he isn't already is just icing on the cake.

Hold on their...whilst i agree BR should stay...are you trying to say Rafa doesn't love the club? Because that's almost as bad a claim as the OP IMO.

But thanks for your views cool

I would replace Rodgers in the summer with Benitez.

My reasoning is that Benitez has a track record of winning trophies, Rodgers does not.

Rodgers has got a lot of credit for making us challengers again(!). Am I missing something? LFC has a history of winning championships and European Cups, since when were we happy about being challengers?(thats the ambition of Spurs).

This thread has been reported. We will not remove it as it is someone's opinion. If it is a wind-up as many feel, there is no proof that enables us to take action. Sorry guys LOL.

Although it is a bit 'out there '.. If you go back one season these threads were common place, shows how far we've come when a thread like this is now considered by most as crazy.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

I disagree with the OP but it would be silly to delete or lock it. Its a valid point for discussion.

I have more things to do with my time than winding people up. I can assure you I am serious about what I am writing. I dont think the proposal is as ludicrous as some people are suggesting.

I am merely proposing we replace one manager with another who has a vastly superior cv....???

Now if I had suggested we bring back Roy Evans, then yes call the asylum, but Rafa? Perfectly logical imho.

Every manager has to start somewhere before their CV improves and i believe that BR's CV has improved every season and with every opportunity he has been given to date. Just because he hasn't won trophies yet, it doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to do so. If you look at what he has done with the clubs he has managed, he has improved all of them when given the time to do so. Our improvement this season has been totally unexpected but he has the belief and respect of the players which I believe is almost the most important part of being a manager. If players buy into his playing philosophy, which they seem to have done, they will do whatever they can to follow it and so far, from I have witnessed, it is working. So in saying that, he should stay on and be given the opportunity to continue his excellent work to date and until the improvement begins to regress, then he should stay on.
