So why didn't he do it? He could have got Agger in to increase the number of defenders and a very experienced one. However, we have consistently conceced under pressure, he needs to sort it out, this is not new.

I sure hope you’re right wilkij, but I’m not so sure, he’s had two seasons now, and very little has changed with our defence, and on top of that, yonder 20m on Sakho is beginning to look a little over the top for what we’re getting, he can’t head the ball for nuts, and he’s downright dreadful with it on the ground.
I’ve often said I don’t hold Rodgers fully responsible for signings, what with the silly policy and even sillier committee, so I’m not surprised that our horse of a 20m defender is starting to look like he might well be a Camel.
Rodgers is very focused on attacking options and so far has shown little inclination to focus on defence, and unlike your good self, I’m beginning to wonder if he has it in his locker, next season will determine whether he has it or not, I feel.

It is a concern but he has the attack sorted all bar some quality back up so if he doesn't now go for top quality defenders then I don't know what to think. The big thing for me is FSG and the stupid committee backing him with who he wants regardless of age, sell on potential etc. we need the right players above everything else.

Similarly Ancelotti couldn't defend a 3 goal lead in the 2005 CL final. This stuff happens in football and it happened a hell of a lot quicker that night. Not a 3 goal lead but only 2 seasons ago Ferguson let a 3-1 and 4-2 lead slip at HOME to Everton. Really cannot agree then that BR can defend that lead every single time. If it keeps happening then something is wrong but give the guy a break please.

was it defensive errors or BR's tactics or it was just a deflected goal and from that point onwards,our players totally lost it.no ideas,no courage add to that a thin exhausted squad.

from not very distant past,we can see nerves getting us kicked in the arse but we were lucky enough to snatch 3 points..Norwich & Man City for you..
but you dont get that lucky week in week out.

that said,it might have been less of a surprise if a mid table club concedes 3 goals in such a short ridiculous time.But for Potential Champions..NO SIR...didnt wake up after conceding 1,not after 2 and after 3..[oops].too late

probably four of the current first team choices would not be so if we had a better squad. When the team is "firing" they lift their game. When the going gets tough and the side needs quality and conviction they are sadly lacking.

Mobile, smart defenders and quality ball-playing midfielders need we yes?
