We need Everton to do us a favour by beating Man City, even a draw is good provided we win both games.

Yep, we needed to reinforce the CM, but we were hardly in the market for that. It's no longer in our hands but could still win it, we'll know before our next game because the only chance is City away game at Everton, they play before us.

Henderson has been missed so badly and Johnson well he's done next to nothing all season. Enrqiue's injury has been covered by the fact Flanno turned not just his liverpool future around but his playing career. Make no mistake about it. If Suarez and Sturridge were out at the same time we wouldnt be any where near CL footie let alone at the summit of the table.

Huge investment required this summer to ensure this mistake. ie. forcing our Manager to have a threadbare squad to challenge at the top doesnt and cannot happen again.

You are right, however, to be fair, winning the league was never the set objective while finishing in a CL position was.

To be honest I thought it would be very difficult to finish in the top 4 without reinforcements in Jan, good that de didn't have too many casualties.

FSG has reached the set objective, though I think that with a top midfielder we might have clinched it, but then we'll never know, we can still be champions.

you cannot speak as if we'd already lost it. Chelsea are favorites for third and to win it, City need to veat Everton away. If you think that is a foregone conclusion, I'm sure Pellegrini doesn't.
