He was superb today and really stepped up for the missing Hendo. Sadly the same cant be said for Cool Hand Lucas. I think Joe my become a key player for us in these final few games. We dont have a lot of squad depth but he has been reliable when called upon this season. To win the title you need your Allens, Carricks and Milners as much as your big players. Allen seriously looked horned to the gils today.........sorry couldnt resist

Hard to belive that he hasnt got a PL goal for us yet. But he has done well when called upon. I remember he had a period in the team around Christmas when we had some injuries and he did well. Its players like that, that win you leagues.

We need him to keep doing what he is doing, not necessary to score. We need him to defend well and not to lose the ball in order to stay in control of the game. I think he is doing that.

I thought he was brilliant today. Made Lucas look worse than he is. Very composed. Unlucky not to score.
