Thing is, for all this laughing at him.

His team is still massive favourites to win the league, will probably be in the CL Final where anything can happen and already have a trophy in the bag.

He is looking shook though, his worst nightmare would be for Liverpool to start looking dominant agani just as he is about to quit.

I know - it would ruin him.

The thing that's probably kept him going is the thought of beating our record, and then retiring. Let's make sure it doesn't happen.

If he equals it this season, we HAVE to win it next year.

I still think they're huge favourites for the league, we need to be perfect until the end of the season and Man U need to drop points in games that have been gimme's in past seasons.

I'll still keep praying to Jesus, Allah and Buddha and sacrificing virgins to Beezlebub (he said it was too late, Man U did that ages ago), but i still think we're 4 or 5 points behind the Mancs come the end of the season.

I'm kind of feeling optimistic myself believe it or not, but at the same time I like to play it down as it lessens the blow of defeat somewhat!!

Even if we don't win the League this year all I want to see is Fergiscum going nuts every game until the end of the season. That would be grand. It would have two benifits -

1. make me happy
2. You could use his head on the top of an ambulance as a flashing light!

I truly hope that we will beat them on the last day of the season and to see his face when the news filters through to him will be a mastercard moment to savor....PRICELESS!!
