Why would they sell the club before redeveloping thie ground? And you always go on about how expensive it is to watch the games live bit you also want us to spend the sort of money united do and build a new £500m stadium crazy I think you just like moaning
It would save them a lot of money.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Selling the club before spending millions of the ground makes sound commercial sense especially if they only want to stop for the short term it will take years maybe decades to recoup the investment and there is a lot that could go wrong.

So yes selling before if the safe option for a short term investor.

liverpool fc with a 60k stadium with revenues of £300m a year will be worth about £1billion or they could see up now for £350m. Plus FSG won't have to pay a cent for the rebuild it will all be financed by a naming rights partner.

Well if its all financed by a naming rights sponsor (first I have heard of that BTW who is the sponsor? ) but if that's the case why can't we have a new ground with FSG investing the difference ?

FSG aren't going to release details of naming rights before they have bought the property are they? And what's the point of having a 70-80k stadium you don't think we could sell out 60k

I'm with stan here. How do you know we would only sell out 60 k? How do you know there's a naming rights partner already?

Yes, their revenues are much higher than ours, they are in the top 3 with Real and Barca, we are not even in the top 10, we will get I think 9th if we get in the CL.

Second the ground is likely to delayed 2 years before a planning application due to legal problems over 4 houses

On the good news front Rodgers is to be offered a new three year contract

Thats your problem right there.

Well SP said recently that we won't even sell out 45k for CL games. He also wants cheaper tickets and much more than 60m to buy players, last buy not least, he wants us to be within FFP.
