That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

It's not (as you would expect) the nil two arsenal 1989 I actually felt quite neutral on that night it was months after hillsbrough and you realised you were watching history and both the Liverpool fans and arsenal fans that night were outstanding the kop staying behind to clap the arsenal team with the title and the gooners being very respectful.

No the game I would choose is a year later when Liverpool were beaten by a fitter and stronger crystal palace in the fa cup semi final at villa park. Apart from the fact we lost out to playing and probably beating utd in the final it was the realisation that Liverpool were mortal and our long period of dominating football was coming to an end.
havent had many down the years , but in order getting beat by MUFC at goodison in 79 , 88 against wimbledon and 96 against MUFC at wembley .

If it wasn't for 88 being the summer of love it could have taken a lot longer to get over that Wimbledon defeat.

One game to choose is a difficult one as a club cannot turn from great to crap over one game. Yes there is very often a bad day out, and it happens to every team, so the one which would be the worst for me are those games where we lost a title. Therefore, I would say the Liverpool-Arsenal 0-2 game and the CL game on 2007 when we lost to AC Milan in the final with argueably a better team than 2005.

Days days for me (with hindsight) which changed our destiny are the appointment of Souness who in my book undid too many good things including the boot room and not selling to DIC.
