for me andy carroll. loved the way he would run with his pony tail swinging from side to side Carroll was the other side of the coin for me, I hated everything about him! he was slow, lazy, argumentative and loved to blame everyone else for his short comings.

Ray Houghton was an unsung hero for me. Always ran his guts out. Never gave up. Scored some good goals too.
And Paul Walsh was an enigma. HUGE talent that came to little. The club was in upheaval at that time and he seemed to never get a settled place in the first team. But he had some amazing skills and a good football brain.
