Anyone know if I can bypass a wiring harness on a small rear light and just wire direct to a new light unit, cant get the original light and harness so need to do something different.

Multiplex wiring or the good ole fashioned proper stuff?

If the latter, no probs I'd have thought. If the former...gerra man in.

Old school wiring, a number plate light on me mates old transit camper, the light and holder are a mess, reckon I will just give it a shot and see, stick a light from a truck plate on it.

Probably a a break in the cable up to the existing light.

Fix it and tell him it'll cost him a weekend's free hire.

I reckon the cables are good, think the multiplug harness is corroded and the light is in poor nick as well. Cant get on original part anywhere apart from online but need sooner for a visual recheck on the doe.

I use it a good bit in the summer, nothing better than tipping over to the west for a few days, as long as you dont mind noise and not doing much more than 50mph.

All part of the fun. No hurry anyway.

You are so lucky having that gorgeous west coast to just nip over too.
Must hire meself one and come over for a road trip sometime.

Scotland west side is beautiful too, but if the weather is good, the midges come out in the squillion.
Do get that same problem?

In places, mostly inland at the rivers, couple of citronella candles usually does the trick.

Signed sealed delivered, lights working, brake light switch replaced, doe passed, get in.
