You see though, I am very upset other peoples children were sent to war under false pretenses. Just as a matter of interest Marko, would it be different to you if Smalling went to the party disguised as Millosevich? Interesting question, I was thinking of posing a similar one regarding Milosevic or anti-Serb sentiment.

No I wouldn't be offended...Milosevic was a Serb, and yes I am ashamed of him, because he was a war criminal amd did some horrible things but I have laughed at many many jokes about him. The guy was an idiot, there is no doubt about it in my opinion, but so many politicians are and i enjoy good satire which ridicules them and lets us have a laugh at their expense.
I am under the impression the question you wanted to ask me though, was, whether i would be offended if it was someone who was responsible for killing Serbs, for example the current Kosovar prime minister Hashim Taci. This is a man who has been charged with stealing human organs from Serbs during the war, killing them and harvesting organs and trading them on the black market.
Would I be offended if someone pitched up to a party dressed as him? No, i wouldn't, I would take it as a joke, the way it would be intended. I would laugh at the fact that many know how guilty the man is and there is nothing i or anyone else can do about it, because the powers that be choose to have them as their pawn.
I would laugh because I feel that my friends would only do that as a joke. As I said in one of my posts, a lot depends on how the character is portraied and the manner in which a joke is told. From Smallings costume and the use of jaggermeister and red Bull it is plain as daylight that his costume was a play on the Jaggerbomb theme, so for me, there is nothing to be offended about.

Fair enough, but not everybody is like you, some might get genuinely offended not only because of political correctness.

How would you feel is Hashim Taci had committed such crimes against a family member of yours, say your father or brother? I doubt that wouldn't offend you, I may be wrong of course.

Well to answer your question honestly. I don't know. Thank God that didn't happen. In this case though it is clear as daylight that it was a play on the phrase "Jaeger bombs" and not on the deaths of innocent people.

If it's only a play on the J.bomb and nothing else, why dress as a suicide bomber and not go as Herol 'bomber' Graham instead?
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

J Bombs are horrendous, far too much red bull in them! They get your heart racing but dont get you anywhere near drunk. What makes it worse is that most students buy me them because they are £2 a shot!!!!!

Wonder how people would react had he dressed up as a Stealth Bomber? Applause, applause perhaps?
