The Gerrard Factor might be a problem. Players look up to him and because of this the game HAS to go through him in there minds. Yesterday they knew that they could not hide and played there natural game. Gerrard is one of the best players at the club but the players need to learn when his back not to rely on him.

Not in a bad way

I think without sg
Players seemed more relaxed and played their natural game

If u have noticed in the past our mid players wud always pass to sg, even if a better option was available ...

I think it's time for br to play and use sg sparingly
Spurs game proved players can step up and lfc is no longer a one man team in midfield

I don't think SG can play a lot of matches in a row anymore, his game has always been about energy foremost despite having very good skills and top passing ability. He doesn't have that much energy anymore and his pairing with Lucas doesn't work as they are both too static.

It's ridiculous that Steven Gerrard has to be out injured to get players to raise their games.

If players such as Allen, Sterling and Henderson performed like that week in week out (with Gerrard in the team), we'd be much better off.

Well, maybe it sparked them to grow and mature. Who's to say they'll regress when he comes back?

We looked so much quicker across the park yesterday!

People always say our passing game would Lose quality if Gerrard was out but I think with him out other players got a chance to do it. Some of the cross pitch passes from sterling were incredible and I think it caught spurs off guard.

Were always trying to setup through Gerrard, it gets a bit predictable but yesterday spurs just had no answer.

I hope that Gerrard isn't just handed his spot back in the team and is made to work by BR. I may be in the minority here but I'm beginning to think Gerrard should be coming off the bench, or starting in big games and coming off after 50 minutes.
