what agenda would that be?
be a day-in-the-sun person all you want, i want the club back in europe, winning silverware and i refuse to be fooled by sporadic good performances. games like this should be a starting point, not the basis for the deluded belief that we are suddenly title contenders. The turning point was that game against hull for me, season could have been gone after that , but the team has really pulled together the last 3 games. yes but its usually within the next two games that we implode, thats my point. perspective, thats all im suggesting

Your agenda is wanting the manager sacked because you believe him not to be good enough, even though everything is pointing to you being wrong. I want Liverpool to be back in Europe and winning things too. Everyone's wrong sometimes flames, this time it's your turn. its not about right or wrong, but i will make the observation that there is a long way to go, something you are ignoring. i will also refer to the many times that i said i would be delighted for rogers to prove me wrong. i will also observe the abusive, derogatory fashion with which people refute my point, which only suggests that i am hitting a nerve. its not enough to simply "believe" we are on our way, it has to be true. jez flames u overreacted to bad performances last year and have stubbornly kept it up. rodgers is going in the rite direction ,i just accept the bullcrap he talks at times and the odd mad signing.

I'm not trying to be derogatory Flames, far from it. But when I start a thread about a great performance the first thing you do is state that the tread is the typical over the top reaction to a good performance. Liverpool are on the up and I won't be apply until we are crowned premier league champions but I'm very happy with our future prospects

Couple of additions in January and were right in this. Not saying were gonna win the title, would be a foolish expectation in my opinion. But top 4 is on and if were there at the end of the year anything can happen. Although I can't see anyone catching city now they have a full head of steam.

when we hit 38 games and we are in that top 4 i'll believe it but so far all i have seen is erratic performances and that needs to stop.

Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling were magnificent tonight. Glad to see Hendo get MOTM. Everytime I predict a 2-1 win, we score 4 or 5 goals, so I think I'll keep doing that haha. It wonderful to be wrong sometimes. A clean sheet too! Get in there, Red Men.
In regards to flames' worries, this isn't one performance, it's a third win on the bounce. We're on 33 points from 16 games. That is a highly successful first half of the season, the best we've had since our title tilt in 2009. We also did it without our second leading scorer and without our captain, and with teenagers not only starting, but scoring and keeping a clean sheet.

its not that. just lets wait and see what happens to this side when the pressure of expectation sets in towards the end of the season because so far, everytime we get a run going we bottle it and trip over ourselves.

We've had way too many days where we've taken one step forward and two steps back, but I honestly see the kinks being ironed out (slowly) but that's not to say we won't have more bad days. So far this season the team have worked so hard for each other that I have to see the positives.
