I idea of having such a born winner as captain of our great club is a disgrace. well i suppose it's entirely which way you choose to look at it, winner yes give you that because it's true but in fairness you have to say after the summer he's a liar, he also has previous for being a cheat not to mention having racist and physical abuse on his record too, is this really they type of player a Club like ours should bestow such an honour on. Hang on, the other day you were drooling over captain Keane and saying how we are crying out for a player with his leadership qualities, drive etc. This is the Keane that was sent off for stamping on and slapping people numerous times and who was fined for admitting that he purposely tried to hurt a player!! Hows that work then if by your rules you need to be Mr nice to be the club captain?

We need to get something from the Spurs game, just been watching City hammer Arsenal, and looking at them at home, we won’t be taking anything away from there. They look very like League winners to me, very powerful team.

sad indictment of how far the Club has sunk if they name such an unsaviory character as captain of out Club, alrite we know we are sliding gardualy on the way down but seriously are we that bad. Sad that you keep on spouting this crap despite knowing that very few people if any care what you have to say.

Good things about 5 league championships, European Cup, about 3 or 4 F.A.Cups think we can safely say Keane's good far, far outweighs the bad, Luis Suarez biting, cheating, telling lies, harming the clubs reputation, racial offences the good was a League Cup win and is the difference between us finishing 7th or 8th each season instead of 9th or 10th without him probably the bad far, far outweighs the good so as you see totaly difference between Keane and all his bad and Suarez, hope this clears it up. Doesn't clear anything up. What you are saying is that if quality over weighs bad behaviour then that player can be made captain, so what goes for Keane should be the same for Suarez. You keep confusing a player with the team. A team will gain you trophies not one player alone, Bale hasn't won any team trophy but is currently the most expensive player of the world who will be winning trophies with Real Madrid as opposed to Spurs. The same top player will either win lots of trophies or not depending on the team he has around him but I am sure understanding this is beyond you. Not the first time you are explained this simple thing but you don't seem to get it.

If your not one of the best players you have to have your career mapped out by clubs and what's best for them so there is a difference. No you seem to miss the point. You have said it yourself in your post above, even if he fails to win trophies he is a top player (as you have called him yourself) despite having himself to blame. That's the real point, trophies are won by the whole team while you can be a top player playing for a poor team. SG prefered to play for his boyhood club instead of going to Chelsea where he would have won more trophies, this does not make him a less top player. I know I am losing my time with you, this will stay beyond you.
