well i suppose it's entirely which way you choose to look at it, winner yes give you that because it's true but in fairness you have to say after the summer he's a liar, he also has previous for being a cheat not to mention having racist and physical abuse on his record too, is this really they type of player a Club like ours should bestow such an honour on.

Hang on, the other day you were drooling over captain Keane and saying how we are crying out for a player with his leadership qualities, drive etc. This is the Keane that was sent off for stamping on and slapping people numerous times and who was fined for admitting that he purposely tried to hurt a player!!
Hows that work then if by your rules you need to be Mr nice to be the club captain?
think it's all about balance, I will try to explain, Roy Keane bad things with stamping e.t.c. Good things about 5 league championships, European Cup, about 3 or 4 F.A.Cups think we can safely say Keane's good far, far outweighs the bad, Luis Suarez biting, cheating, telling lies, harming the clubs reputation, racial offences the good was a League Cup win and is the difference between us finishing 7th or 8th each season instead of 9th or 10th without him probably the bad far, far outweighs the good so as you see totaly difference between Keane and all his bad and Suarez, hope this clears it up.

So just because Keane had better players around him to help him win titles it makes his actions ok?

I'm sorry but your argument trying to justify that Keane was better because he won things is a load of sh1t in my opinion!!

Don't worry we won't see that wum for a couple of days, either that or he will try and convince us that we were just lucky and our real quality is what we showed against Hull.

If that loss against Hull was the kick up the arse we really needed to jolt our away form, then it was worth the pain and has most certainly done the trick.

This season he's been a model professional. Not even been booked, and he's in the form of his life. I think the ban was actually good for him. He seems calmer. Still just as intense, but less out of control. His finishing has been better, his overall play has been better, and he just seems a happier bloke.

Is it just me or have opposition fans let up a little on the usual booing of Suarez?

What's the point in booing one of the best players on the planet? Most of the time there sh1ting them selves about what he's going to do next.

He hasn't dove or bitten anyone or called them offensive names, so they've given up. And it's hard not to just applaud when you see someone play that well.

If you watch Suarez first goal lots of spurs fans behind the goal are seen clapping. It's nice to applaud class even if it is against your team.

I shall watch all this on MoTD shortly, seeing as it wasn't on BT Sport like what I was led to believe earlier. eek
