Couldn't agree less! We're fourth over the last 38 because of what we've done, not because of what other people aren't doing. What do you expect from the teams you listed above? Spurs finished on 72 last season and are on 20 this. United won the league with 90 points and now have 20. City finished with 78 and have 19 this season. These teams can't win every game.

Still waiting for your prediction boxy you have avoided that ! Also how many games had the teams I mentioned lost this time last year ?

I wont make a prediction on where we will finish until after Christmas. The second half of the season is on paper an easier one for us, so depending where we sit come the new year will go a long way to say where we'll finish. im not worried about what other teams are doing, the only target for us should be 72 points or over. That should be good enough for us to finish in the top 4.

im just saying that I don't think teams have had such a bad start as people make out.
Spurs, United and City have had a few dodgy results but still have a good points tally after 11 games.

Br signed Danny, Phil in jan 2013 window to improve the starting 11

In the summer br signed 3 players to improve the starting 11 ie sakho, mig, toure

And the rest of the players were signed to improve the squad

Br made a statement recently that he will be looking to sign real quality players in the next transfer window....if they r available ?

I think he means ... Players to go straight into the starting 11 only.

Spurs are actually better off this season than last. We would be in 4th place going on last seasons table at this point 3 points ahead of 5th.

I like the fact that we're not firing on all cylinders
I like the fact there is still more work to do with the team and squad
I like the fact that we are showing signs of progressions whilst not actually nailing it yet
I like the fact we have stretch in us
I like the fact Rodgers still has something to work with
I like the fact we're just not quite right yet
I like the fact we're sitting second with all the above to consider

Lets see where we are on Jan 1. The acid test is December where we face City, Spurs and Chelsea. All away.

The leagues getting closer every season and what was traditionally a top 4 teams is now a top 8.

This is a best chance we have in many season to qualify for CL. a good start helped us no doubt.

definitely our league form has improved from the last few seasons, and yes I feel we are heading to the right direction. I think a few more players in Jan and top 4 will be well within our reach.
