This should be a poll! My answer would be some weeks a donkey and other weeks world class

World class is a word too easy used on average, very good players ...

Lucas is world class to some fans wen u plays against average, poor teams

And is average wen up against players with more ability than him...

For me Lucas wud b ideal back up to a quality DM player, who also has that X factor abt him....
Wen/if br signs a quality DM player.... We r stuck with playing Lucas

not world class and not crap on his day a decent player but also can be terrible like against the arse , but was brilliant against WBA and newcastle most were saying liverpool missed him , so cant have it both ways .

He's very good but in a very limited sense. Overall he's been a good servant to the club and deserves credit and our appreciation, even though he might not be right for us if we ever step up to the next level. Worth keeping as a squad player if he wanted to stay.

Get a quality DM player signed in jan 2014

in a nut shell, he is a good subsitute to have.

Wanyama would have been sweet because of his strength but i'll settle for Tiote who at least has speed and isnt that bad of a ball player.
