I thought this deserved a thread! Stan Colymore has spent the last hour on Talk Sport saying that the future super powers in the premier league will all come from London.
The reasons he gives are that all players now want to live in London. He gave a few examples saying Suarez was happy to leave Liverpool for London and Benteke wanted to leave Villa for the same reason.
He also says that Tottenham will soon have a 65,000 seater stadium and West Ham will soon move into a new stadium.
Stan also said that Eriksen chose Tottenham over Liverpool because he wanted to live in London.

I'm getting more and more angry! He now saying Sturridge wouldn't have come to Liverpool if Chelsea wanted him or played him in his correct position. He's almost making out that Liverpool and United are now lucky to get any top players.

If the teams there are playing good football, fighting for fourth at least, and paying mega bucks then the players may want to go there.
Cant see many choosing Fulham at the moment for lack of all the above.

What clubs are desirable in London? Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham (at this moment in time) maybe West Ham when they have a new stadium and can pay the wages. I'm sure we can still compete but maybe he's right.

The money talks loudest,That filters down to better stadia. Being able to compete for CL etc, then picking up the large pay cheques. there are more opportunities for all of that in London at this very moment so players will go for that.

Being able to compete for CL etc, then picking up the large pay cheques. there are more opportunities for all of that in London at this very moment so players will go for that. Hasn't London always been able to pay more money? It's always been a desirable place to live. I don't see how things have changed that much.
