Another thing to consider is our run of fixtures - they have been one of the easiest in living memory for me
we used to do good vs the top teams but bleed many more points vs the bottom teams, if we have a 40% record against the top teams and get consistent results elsewhere I will be very happy this season.
as for the arsenal match it is just one game, a win or a draw would be great but a defeat shouldn't derail us as long as we stay consistent later.
I assume you're referring to our time under Rafa when we were set-up to beat teams at the highest level? The system BR is currently employing is very much set up to keep the game wide open with loads of chances at both ends, which, personally seems set up to face the teams at the lower end of the PL. I'm not all that optimistic about our chances against the other top teams. Didn't we only beat Spurs and Swansea from the top 10 last year???
BR's record against the top teams last season was average at best. from memory: ManU 0 points, ManC 2 points, Chelsea 2 points, Spurs 3 points, Everton 2 points, Arsenal 1 point.
If we keep that record up we'll drop enough points from our November & December fixtures to be well and truly out of the title race before the new year.
This Arsenal game is critical imo
