Mauricio Pochettino is Southampton's manager, and some f*cking manager he is! I know it's early days, but 9 games in and they are sitting thrid. He has done an absolutely amazing job. Forget Hyypia and Mourinho and whoever, we should keep an eye on this guy. I am not saying sack BR, but watch this guy just in case. You never know, maybe BR abandons us one day and this guy has shown, he knows what he is doing.
All jokes aside, I really enjoy watching southampton play this season, they play a entertaining brand of footie.

yeah...i remember last season towards the end they looked poor...but it seems the time he got during the window and preseason worked wonders for the team.

They showed a stat on match of the day tonight, after 9 games last season Southampton had conceded 26 goals, this season under the new manager, after 9 games they have conceded 3 goals, that's a phenomenal difference.

Totally agree with you, noticed the guy since he was appointed manager and beat us up last season. They had a dip at the end of last season probably because they were out of relegation, so the motivation was lower and was surprised by their bad start this season. But, defenitely confirming what I thought of Pochetino and they have also spend some money wisely in the summer. Their striker even plays for Italy's first team and also scored recently.

I've been really impressed with them. They've been making some ambitious signings for the past few years, and they play good football. I'd like to see them continue to thwart the big teams as they've been doing.
