I honestly don't think money is the key issue!!! We have players capable of playing excellent football but their legs have been tied by a manager who is desperately trying to survive and not letting them play with their own instincts. He is so afraid of losing games he won't take risks and play an attacking formation or give any kids game time to develop them. Whilst he thinks we are still a chance of claiming 4th spot the kids will never get a go. If he actually let them play the football that we played towards the end of last season and blood a few youngsters I don't think we would be in the position we are in now!
..............Reina...............
Johnson/Kelly.....Carra.....Agger.....Aulelio
Maxi/Kuyt....Stevie.....Mascherano.....Riera
............Pacheco/Babel................
.............Torres.................
We obviously need to add quality depth to our squad too but
I think with this side on the pitch and allowing them to play their natural game our results would be a lot better.
And YES we will win the Premiership because I'm hoping that this is just a season to forget and will never happen again!!
