Top4 Under 23 Player Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 2,886 The wall	I was impressed with Sakho yesterday Vish. He looks to play a short forward simple ball out and it was always the right ball too. Coming from a defender that is exactly what you need. Just hope it continues. Game went much as I expected with Sunderland really taking it to us. Quality upfront proved enough in the end even though we played far too open and have no assertiveness in the middle. That midfield is a serious concern. Gerrard played an exquisite ball for one goal but just goes missing these days for long periods. Whether it's the setup or he's struggling I'm not sure-maybe both. It needs sorting in January if possible. It was if Sunderland just walked through the midfield all day yesterday, every time they got the ball we'd end up defending the edge of the box. Is happened in most games this season and is very worrying.

We got lucky with the first goal , but hey....beach ball goal! We mighta struggled without Suarez and we miss Coutinho badly , Sakho has huge potential but Enrique is our weak link. I'd like to see what Illori can offer. We're not playing particularly well but were second in the league , happy days n we can only get better!
