Why have we got 8 CBs in the first team squad and only 1 RB?
We have 4 players in the team to play midfield along with Alberto. Midfield was a big problem last season and Rodgers did nothing to address the situation. Gerrard is 33, Lucas is coming back from a long term injury and Allen was injured last season.
Aspas is a total waste of money- infact he is worse than Borini.

who are the 8 CB's? I count:

1. Agger
2. Skrtle
3. Sakho
4. Toure
5. Ilori

then 3 RB's:

1. Johnson
2. Kelly
3. Wisdom

No experienced Right Winger.
No Experienced Left Winger.
No Clinical Finisher.
No Target Man.
No Competition for Lucas.
No adequate cover for Johnson and Enrique.
Too many lightweight players and not enough steel.
Youth players being sold or loaned out and replaced by mediocre foreigners.
The academy has no structure or forward planning. It's a shambles.
No one ready to step up and fill Gerrard's shoes.
No one has taken over from Carragher.
No one is leading the team in to battle or raising spirits.
No winning mentality.
The backroom is full of no marks.
Brendans tactics and team selections suck.
Brendans philosophy is a lie.

I think we need a more dynamic DMC. Lucas is great tackling and covering but we need someone who is willing to take a bit of a risk going forward and making forward passes rather than lateral ones and one who can contribute 5-8 goals a season from that position.
